Departed
Departed is a 3D open world game where you play as a spiritual cat named Solitai. Who becomes a cat reaper in order to help guide other lost cat souls back into the afterlife. Solitai's first mission is to depart into Limbo to locate and guide 5 kittens' souls back to safely.
Death is a part of life, it will happen to everyone eventually including your beloved pets. If you’ve lost a pet before you know it isn’t a great feeling and we each cope with grief differently. Become a cat reaper and help safely guide cat souls back to the afterlife. In addition, continue to cherish your memories with previous and current pets.

Install instructions
Please keep all files together whether windows or mac version. Screenshots saves where game's exe file is which is a icon of the logo. You're free to rename and move screenshot pngs only from folder.
Please watch if you experience any resolution issues just as seeing blue bars above and below. All you need to do is open the settings and select 1080x1920 resolution.

I was one of the people who played this game project during the Capstone Festival at CSUMB, and I enjoyed it. I like to report an issue regarding the Windows version. I downloaded the game zip file three times, and it seems to be the Mac version instead. I also downloaded the Mac version and the file was correct as it was the Mac version as intended. The Windows file is named "Darparted.zip," and it contains the Mac version content. I guess there is a glitch with the website or something. I also downloaded the game file using different browsers and computers, and the results were the same. I just thought I let you know, and I'm looking forward to playing it again. Congratulations on earning the CD Alumni Award, and good luck with your game's development.
Thank you for letting me know about the windows version. I did upload the windows version first but must have overwritten later when adding the mac version by accident. Thank you for your kind words. I just played the game, and it works fine. I liked the fantasy, ethereal art style and the game's surreal, dream-like level designs. I especially like the different color tones in the heaven and limbo worlds. The cat's animations are excellent, and the emotional story is engaging. And the music is perfect with this game's theme. I'm looking forward to seeing this game grow.
